LifeSavers

Dear Families,
LifeSavers is a unique programme for primary schools to encourage and support young savers. At Dunalley, students have the opportunity to regularly save money during weekly banking sessions, run by parent volunteers.
The emphasis is on saving regularly, rather than the amount of money, to help foster positive behaviours in relation to money.

Welcome back!
We are delighted to restart the Dunalley LifeSavers scheme for the new school year.  It will remain contactless for the time being but that shouldn’t stop you saving!
On Fridays – Bring your money and LifeSavers Passbook in the plastic wallet provided and drop them in the locked post boxes on your way in to school.

Infants – your post box is on the fence by the entry gate from the field
Juniors – your post box is next to the gates to the field as you enter

Please make sure your money is secure in an envelope or bag before it goes into your LifeSavers wallet
The Parent Banker will collect all LifeSaver wallets from the school office, count and pay in the students’ money.
Wednesdays – LifeSaver wallets will be returned to students with their Passbooks update
Every effort will be taken to ensure the health and safety of both LifeSavers and the Parent Banker.
Want to join?
If your student is not yet a Dunalley LifeSaver and would like to start please visit: https://ls.incuto.com/mysavings/# and click on the orange Register button to sign up.
Students can withdraw money from their accounts at the end of the Autumn Term and again at the end of the Summer Term. If you would like more information, please contact me at lifesavers@dunalley.gloucs.sch.uk
I can’t wait to see those savings start rolling in again!

Kind regards,
Abi Griffin
