ESFA Girl's Football Tournament
Our year 5 children went to Skillzone this week. They actively engaged with the life skills village and learned about making safer choices in different scenarios whether that is at home, while travelling or taking part in activities.
We would like to thank the parents that donated additional funds to ensure that this trip could go ahead and year 5 could benefit from this invaluable learning opportunity.
Today, Young Minds Matter (YMM) came into school to talk to the children about mental health, how they can help themselves with worries, and who they can talk to if they are feeling worried.
If your child has long hair, please make sure that it is tied up when they are at school. Doing so makes sure that it doesn't get in the way when they are playing and learning. Bunches and plaits also slow down the spread of nits.
Please be aware that we have headlice circulating in school.
Please check your child(ren) on at least a weekly basis and treat if required.
The NHS have some useful information about treatment and prevention which you can find HERE.
When at the chemist buying headlice treatment it is always worth asking the pharmacist about the NHS Minor Ailment Scheme, as you may be able to access the treatment for free.
