Thank you to everyone for helping to make this wintry week as safe and as enjoyable as possible. The way in which our fantastic staff team managed to make their way into school, despite many living further afield, has been truly exceptional. We also appreciate the way that you have altered your drop off and pick up plans to ease congestion outside school and enable staff to get home. Here are some photos from our full, final, frosty week.
Celebrating exceptional learners
During our whole school assembly this morning we recognised children who have worked particularly hard this term and consistently displayed fantastic, positive and productive attitudes to learning. The following role models always try their very best and persevere.
Micah 1U - Ranulph 1F - Chili 2O - Sophie 2W - Sophie 3A
Henry 3A - Lucy 3SR - Daniel 4P - Mattie 4W
Na'ilah 5J - Alex 5R - Charlotte 6JJ - Zoe 6MV
We are delighted to let you know that we have achieved Healthy Schools Status through the Gloucestershire Healthy Living and Learning Programme. Thank you to Mr Oliver for leading this initiate and sharing with the assessors all of the ways that we nurture personal development and positive wellbeing for children. Healthy children do better in learning and in life.
We are delighted that the Quality Assurance Group have recongised our achievements in this important aspect of school life.
Reception, year 1 and year 2 Christmas performances
Families with children in reception, year 1 and year 2 will have now received links to Christmas performances.
Please DO NOT forward or share the link with anyone else - all families who should be able to view it have been given individual access.
We hope that you treasure these performances for years to come.
We are delighted to welcome Tiha Krori and Lauren Garraghan to the Dunalley team.
Tiha has joined the year 2 team as a Teaching Partner each morning and stays on as an OPAL Play Partner.
Lauren has also joined our fabulous OPAL Team. Both members of staff have already made a very positive impact at Dunalley.
We hope they will be very happy here.
