We would like to thank our families for the many messages of support during our Ofsted inspection this week. The cakes, biscuits and treat gifts were also gratefully received.
We are not yet able to share the outcome of the inspection as Ofsted need to process and publish the report first. It is usual for this to take a few weeks, we will of course share it with you at the earliest opportunity.
To celebrate the start of our Reception Winter Wonderland topic the children brought in winter themed art creations. We also went on a trip to Birdland to learn more about the life of penguins.

OPAL - items we would really like
As per our article last week, as we continue to establish our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) initiative we want to add to our collection of items for the children to play with.
We would really like the following items; can you help?
Paint brushes and paint rollers.
Old jackets and hats.
Funnels, sieves and colanders.
Large plastic pipes and guttering (for our water wall).
Tarpaulins for den making.
Peg too please.
Do you know anyone who can provide us with tree stumps?
Old water butts, large plastic bins or tractor tyres?
A huge thank you to all families who have donated wonderful and very scrumptious cakes today.
The children enjoyed popping to the hall this morning to chose their cakes and there were still lots left for the sale after school too.
We will let you know next week how much money the cake sale raised.
