We would like to thank our families for the many messages of support during our Ofsted inspection this week. The cakes, biscuits and treat gifts were also gratefully received.
We are not yet able to share the outcome of the inspection as Ofsted need to process and publish the report first. It is usual for this to take a few weeks, we will of course share it with you at the earliest opportunity.
To celebrate the start of our Reception Winter Wonderland topic the children brought in winter themed art creations. We also went on a trip to Birdland to learn more about the life of penguins.
We are excited to let you know that we are working towards are Eco-Schools Green Flag accreditation. With the world beginning to experience the effect of climate change, it is very important that children learn about how our actions impact on the planet we call home. Thank you to Mr Oliver (Y2) for leading this important initiative.

As part of the offer GC Cycles and volunteers from Cheltenham and County Cycling Club came along today and gave their bikes a free health check.
We would like to thank them immensely, as they actually checked every bike in the KS2 bike store. So if your bike was parked on the field it has had a free MOT!
Yr6 - don't forget your bikes and helmets Monday - Thursday. You will be able to leave your bikes at school each evening.
We have been developing our mark making skills using sand, paint, pens and pencils. This is all working towards the skill of writing.

Thank you to those of you who attended our coffee morning on Wednesday morning with Lianne Heaps-Warby, Benefits Advisor.
She was here to let failies know that they don't have to suffer in silence regarding the cost-of-living crisis, she explained about what help there is available.
As per our article last week, as we continue to establish our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) initiative we want to add to our collection of items for the children to play with.
We would really like the following items; can you help?
Paint brushes and paint rollers.
Old jackets and hats.
Funnels, sieves and colanders.
Large plastic pipes and guttering (for our water wall).
Tarpaulins for den making.
Peg too please.
Do you know anyone who can provide us with tree stumps?
Old water butts, large plastic bins or tractor tyres?
A huge thank you to all families who have donated wonderful and very scrumptious cakes today.
The children enjoyed popping to the hall this morning to chose their cakes and there were still lots left for the sale after school too.
We will let you know next week how much money the cake sale raised.
