On Wednesday, Year 5 had a visit from the Head of Science at Cleeve school.
He demonstrated a science investigation involving force and the children were able to plan and conduct a fair test to see which material was the strongest. Children had plastic bags, bubble wrap and cardboard as well as strawberry laces!
A huge thank you to Mr Squire (Head of Science at Cleeve School) and Mrs Sarna for organising this fabulous event.
On Monday evening, ten intrepid astronomers visited Cleeve School and attended a stargazing event.
Thankfully, the storm clouds had passed and they were able to use some of the school's telescopes and binoculars to see the moon, Jupiter and several constellations. A massive thank you (again!) to Mr Squire (Head of Science at Cleeve School) and Mrs Sarna for organising this.
