Nursery & Pre-school - News & Updates
The nursery and pre-school children have been enjoying spotting signs of Spring, particularly the spring flowers that are growing around.
They have been looking closely at the daffodils, noticing the colours and shapes and have taken part in some observational art.
Around the showers they have been challenging themselves outside, by building and jumping from towers they have built themselves. We have been continuing to develop our rhyming skills by listening to rhyming stories and songs and we have enjoyed our story of the week The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
Our vision is to develop the group by inviting along other services and discuss topics in a relaxing and informal way that might be relevant, for example, baby yoga/massage, weaning advice, oral health etc.
We urgently need some spare clothes for our children, particularly the children in the infant classes.
We need:
- Pants
- Socks
- Leggings/trousers/jogging bottoms
It really doesn't matter what condition they are in, we just need some spare clothes.
Please pop your donations into the school office, or should you have any of our spares at home please could you pop them back into school.
Many thanks.
EASTER TRAIL - CAN YOU DISPLAY A LETTER IN YOUR WINDOW?
Can you help us? We’re organising a fun Easter Trail for our community during the Easter holidays but we need your help! Are you able to host a letter in the window of your home which the children can come and spot from the road? It can be as simple as displaying the letter or you can get creative and create an Easter scene!
We need homes close to school (1 mile radius). We won’t publish family names or house numbers on our trail maps but will mark an approximate location on our map. We’ll give you more information on the trail and how you can take part closer to the time.
