The children have loved working with authors Tracey Corderoy and Andy Seed, illustrator Jane Porter and poet Coral Rumble in school this week.
Sadly, Andy had to cut his visit short on Thursday but will be returning to school next half term to visit Year 2 and 3. He will also be selling his books after school.
It was fabulous to see so many members of Year 6 dressed as a ‘word’ today – they’ve had fun guessing each other’s word.
There has been a lovely ‘reading’ atmosphere in school, this week. Thank you for everyone’s enthusiasm!

Red will be for the Air Ambulance who are coming to school on 24th June; yellow for Cystic Fibrosis Trust and orange is the mix!
The money raised will be evenly split evenly between these charities.
Have a fabulous half term break.
We look forward to seeing everyone back to school, at the usual times, on Monday 3rd June.
The school will be thoroughly deep cleaned before our return and be Norovirus free!
