Congratulations to Eve Y4MP who won 2nd prize and £30 with her entry in the Christmas Card competition run by The Montel Group. Eve's design will now be made into Christmas Cards!

The Montel Group, the company responsible for the new cycle path, have also donated money to school thanks to Eve's winning entry.

TUESDAY = CHRISTMAS Lunch day, you will all have pre ordered for this.

The changes are due to the Christmas lunch, end of term and our current caterers coming to the end of their contract.

Dolce Ltd will start with us when we return to school after Christmas.

Very many thanks to everyone that donated towards this year's Hamper Scamper Appeal.

Year 3 welcomed families into school to taste their seasonal soups they had been cooking for their Design Technology unit.

Thursday 5^th December 2024 – Tag Rugby match vs Swindon Village Primary 

Swindon Village were a very tough team to beat but miraculously we overcame our fear of losing and won 3 out of 4 matches! The games were very close and the stats were very even. We all really enjoyed it and it was an incredible experience. We were very proud of ourselves.

Further to our message in the newsletter on the 29th November,  we would like to remind families that the school office is staffed until 5pm.
Staff are not employed to work in the office between 5pm and 5.30pm. 

The answer phone is checked for any messages prior to the children being collected from 5.20pm - 5.30pm.

Families who have pre-arranged an occasional early collection from Lates must come to collect their children before 5pm.

Nursery aged children must be collected by 5pm.

We are happy to facilitate early collections if you need to get your child to an after school activity e.g. a swimming or music lesson. Please email [email protected] to pre-arrange a before 5pm pick up time in these circumstances.

It was wonderful to share our Christmas singing and mince pies with families in the school hall this week. 

The children did a fabulous job and displayed confidence and enjoyment with their singing.
