We are delighted to announce on behalf of the PTFA that the fair raised .... £2,680.
Frozen Fridays will start this week until the end of term on the school field, please bring cash!
Sponsorship Opportunities - Can you help?
Do you work for a company with Corporate Social Responsibility integrated in their practice?
Do you own a business and would like to offer support for Dunalley Primary School?
We are reaching out to companies and individuals who recognise the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a way to enhance both their business and their community. We believe there is great potential for mutual benefit through a partnership with our school as we explore ideas for sponsorships.
How your business can make a difference:
- Sponsoring school events, including school trips and visitors into school
-
Sponsoring learning materials, playground equipment, or extracurricular programs
-
Offering expertise or staff time through volunteering
In return, we would proudly highlight your support within our school community, on our website, and through local media—enhancing your brand image and demonstrating your commitment to positive social impact.
We would love the opportunity to discuss this further and explore ways we can work together to support our pupils while helping your company meet its CSR goals.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

On Wednesday this week, all the Year 1 children went on a trip to Clevedon beach for the day.
They had a fabulous time, and the weather was perfect! Everyone got to see lots of human and physical features at the seaside (which links in with our Geography learning in school).
Year 1 had lunch and a play on the grass area by the miniature railway track and in the afternoon they built sculptures on the beach, out of stones, seaweed, sea glass and shells. (This links in with our Art learning in school).
Year 1 had a fantastic day and the children were a real credit to Dunalley.
Last week, Year 6 were thrilled to all receive their 2025 leavers' hoodies.
We are really enjoying seeing the vibrant range of colours they have all chosen around school and hope they enjoy wearing them for the rest of the year.
What a lovely memory of their final term at Dunalley.

On Wednesday 11th June Dunalley’s Y5 and Y6 cricket team had the opportunity to compete at Hatherley and Reddings Cricket Club.
Our first match of the day was against Richard Pates when Olivia and Ruby hit multiple 4s and Lucy skilfully bowled someone out. In the end we won the match and overall it was a great start to the day. With the sun still shining, our next opponents were Holy Apostles, this was a difficult match! In this game, Holly successfully caught the batter out and Karina hit an amazing 4. This was a close match but in the end we won and this game got us through to the semi-finals.
Whilst waiting for the semi-finals to begin we played a friendly match against Leckhampton Bs. In this match Ruby scored three 6s, Karina scored multiple 4s and Olivia scored a 4 leading our team to a strong victory. Once we had finished it was time for the semi final against Lakeside. In this game Lottie scored an amazing 4 and Karina scored many 4s and 6s. This was a close match but unfortunately we lost. Finally we played the 3rd and 4th play off against Leckhampton Bs. During this match Elsie managed to bowl someone out. We won this match which meant we came 3rd overall out of 12 teams.

Some of the children attending Lates this week chose to do a dragon drawing competition.
Lots of the children got involved and really embraced the activity. The children made a gallery wall and children from year 5 judged the drawings.
