Dear Families,
You will be aware that, from today, the government COVID-19 guidance has changed for the general public. They have lifted the measures put in place under plan B in England but continue to advise that we still follow safer behaviours to protect ourselves and others. Their advice is to:
- Get vaccinatedand get your booster dose
- Consider wearing a face covering in crowded, enclosed spaces
- Let fresh air in if you meet indoors. Meeting outdoors is safer
- Get testedand self-isolate if required
Please go to Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance and support - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) for further information.
In light of the growing infection rates in our community, we will continue to operate under our current risk assessment. You can view it on our website. Please continue to use our one way system and wear face coverings (unless exempt) when dropping off and collecting your children as we still need to minimise the transmission of COVID-19.
Please be aware that we are now experiencing staff shortages and that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find supply cover. We are currently able to remain fully open due to the flexibility and willingness of staff from all teams to cover additional duties and help out where needed. The team effort is truly exceptional. Please be assured that we will continue to do everything possible to avoid partial closures, which some local schools are starting to experience, in the coming days and weeks.
Yours truly,
Alison Godfrey
