Dear Families,
Storm Eunice
This afternoon the local authority has issued urgent advice regarding the storm that is due to hit the country later this evening and tomorrow. In light of the weather warnings that have been issued by the Met Office, they have asked schools to plan for the possibility of major disruption.
If the impact of the storm means that we need to close, or partially close, we will inform you via text message as early as possible in the morning. We will switch to remote learning if structural damage or inadequate staffing levels (due to colleagues being unable to travel into work) means that it is not safe to open.
We are very much hoping to be able to open as usual tomorrow, but plan to keep your children inside the building for the duration of the school day. This will mean that year 4 will not be going swimming.
Thank you for your continued support in these unusual times.
Yours truly,
Alison Godfrey
