As is usual at this time of year, we have set holiday homework for the children to complete. This homework relates to the learning that will be undertaken in the autumn term. Remember to complete the work that is set for your child/children's year group in September (for example, if they were in Reception for the academic year just ending, they will be completing the Year 1 task).
We also have further suggestions for possible learning activities about the Earth and recipes that your child/children might wish to attempt.

Teachers will have also set learning activities within Education City.
It is really important for all children to keep on reading and enjoying books. The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children aged 4 to 11 to set themselves a reading challenge to help prevent the summer reading 'dip'. Please follow the link below to find out more and set up an account for your child. https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/ Once your child has an account, they can set themselves a reading target, collect badges, play games and find book recommendations for their favoured genres.
The BookTrust website also has many fun storytime and book-themed activities for families to enjoy. https://www.booktrust.org.uk/books-and-reading/have-some-fun/
