It has been brilliant to welcome your children back to school this week. They have quickly settled back to their routines and are continuing to apply themselves to their learning and embrace school life. Next week we will be sharing more information about what your child(ren) will be learning this term - please watch out for this.

Hair & Jewellery
- Jewellery may consist of stud earrings only. From Year 2, children may wear watches.
- Long hair must be tied up for all children by suitable hair ties. Please save decorative hair accessories for evenings, weekends and school holidays.
School uniform required for Reception to Year 2
- Brown jumper with school logo or brown cardigan with school logo
- White polo shirt
- Black jogging bottoms, black leggings or black PE shorts (no patterns)
- Black trainers (plain)
- Wellies (to be left at school)
- Bookbag with school logo
- Green fleece with school logo - this is optional and is to be worn over a brown jumper or cardigan
This uniform is to be worn every day. Pupils in Reception to Year 2 do not change for PE.
School uniform required for Year 3 to Year 6
- Brown jumper with school logo or brown cardigan with school logo
- White polo shirt
- Black trousers, black shorts or black skirt (to be worn with black tights or black socks)
- Sturdy, black school shoes
- Wellies (to be left at school)
- PE kit is black PE shorts and black jogging bottoms or black leggings and trainers
- Yellow and white gingham summer dress - this is optional and to be worn with white socks. These dresses may only be worn from September to October half term and in the summer term
- Green fleece with school logo - this is optional and is to be worn over a brown jumper or cardigan
School uniform is to be worn every day except on PE days. On PE days pupils should arrive wearing their PE kit.

Reminder
Children in KS1 bring home 2 reading books every Friday.
Please don't hesitate to chat to your child's teacher if you have any questions or queries they will be very happy help.
As part of our drive to become more ECO friendly, and while fully understanding the rise in the cost of living, we have decided to hold a pre-loved children's clothes swap at school.
From Wednesday 25th January, families can bring any of the items listed below into school so that thay are ready for the swap.
On Friday the 3rd February from 2pm, families will be able to access the school hall and rummage through the donated items, taking anything suitable.
Please ensure that the pre-loved clothes donated are in a clean condition and in a suitable bag.
We believe that the following items would be well received:
- Pyjamas
- Tops
- Trousers
- Shirts/Dresses
- Coats
- School uniform
- Shoes
Any items of clothing left behind at the end of the swap will be recycled.
Spring Term: 20th January – 31st March 2023 - don't forget your swimming kits.
We are seeking a new member for our Nursery & Pre-school team working as a Midday Supervisor.
Duties will involve setting up the dining area, supporting and supervising nursery aged children eating their lunch as well as clearing and cleaning the dining room at the end of the session.
