Dunalley Maths Week 2023: 'I See Maths' Photo Competition
Earlies & Lates: 8th January 2024 - 31st March 2023
We are delighted to announce that we will be using a new booking system for Earlies and Lates on Parent Pay for next term's sessions.
As you know, instead of making your requests via a survey you will book directly on Parent Pay. We don't expect any issues but please bear with us as we work through the new system as we believe that it will be considerably easier for you.
Earlies & Lates: 8th January 2024 - 31st March 2023
Bookings will:
- Open: Monday 13th November at 7pm and
- Close: at 8am Wednesday 22nd November.
- Bookings will be on a first come first serve basis as places are limited.
- Please only book the dates required. Regular non-attendance will result in future bookings being cancelled.
- Earlies sessions are £3.50 per session and start 8am.
- Lates sessions are £8.00 per session and finish at 5.30pm.
- There will be no Lates on Friday 17th February or Friday 31st March.
Earlies & Lates are listed separately and you will need to book on both if you require childcare in the morning and afternoon - we suggest booking Lates first.
Parent Pay accounts must always be in credit. Log on before the 2nd January to top your account if necessary. Arrears on the account will result in future booking being cancelled. Please also ensure childcare vouchers are credited before the session.
On Monday 13th November from 7pm please log onto Parent Pay and then 'Payment Items' to make your selections: https://www.parentpay.com/. Click the sessions you wish to book and finish by clicking 'Book and Pay later'
Successful families will then be sent our Earlies & Lates Declaration and places will only be secured once this has been completed and returned to us via Edulink One.
The new booking system allows you to view your bookings at any point. Please continue to make changes and cancellations in the normal way via [email protected].
Early Birds - important reminder
Please make sure that your child(ren) arrive at 8am for Early Birds. This gets their school day off to the best possible start and enables them to make the most of the extra help and support that is available at this important time of day.
Teachers carefully plan for Early Bird sessions to ensure that children benefit from their early arrival. Arriving late reduces teaching and learning time and interrupts the flow of lessons that are already under way.
Thank you for your understanding and punctuality.
We are excited to be celebrating and supporting important causes in school. Exciting events planned for the next 2 weeks are:
Friday 17th November - Children in Need and Odd Socks
We are encouraging all children to wear ‘Odd Socks’ in conjunction with our Celebrating Difference anti bullying discussions for PSHE. If you would like to donate to Children in Need on the day please do.
Monday 20th November - Wacky Day
This event has been organised by the School Councillors. Given the success of their Wacky Hair day last year, they have decided to take it one step further! Children are invited to come into school looking 'wacky' (hair and clothes) on 20th November for a suggested donation of £1.
The School Council has decided that 80% of the money raised will go to Cheltenham Animal Shelter, whilst 20% will stay with school. The groups plans to discuss how it will be spent when they know how much they have raised.
WACKY DAY POSTER

We were excited to welcome Reception parents in to school on Wednesday afternoon. They joined in our PSHE lesson and then went to the hall for a wonderful tasting of foods from AiP. Curry, lasagne, cakes and treats were enjoyed by all.
FUNDRAISING UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who supported our efforts at the Opal stay & play and those who purchased Christmas cards and gifts. We are pleased to share that we have added £300 and £273 from each event helping us to reach our £2000 goal.
MOVIE NIGHT POSTER COMPETITION
We would like to invite the children to design a poster for our upcoming POPCORN & PJS MOVIE NIGHT on Tuesday 12th December at 3.15pm. All entries must be handed in by Monday 20th November and Mrs Godfrey will select the winning design for display.
PTFA MEETING 22/11/23

For pupils in Reception to Year 3.
After the success of the Lionesses in both the Euro's and the World Cup Cheltenham Town LFC Youth Club have set up a Mini Robinesses session, offering football coaching for girls from Reception to Year 3.
With incredible strides being made in Women's football it is time to inspire the young generation to get involved in football.
Sessions for young Robinesses to get involved have been set on a Tuesday night 5-6pm at All Saints Academy, Blaisdon Way, Cheltenham, GL51 0WH. There are currently over 130 girls, from ages 7 - 16 and they hope to build their football family even more.
The session is run by a qualified female coach and joined by girls that are in U16s age group who will be starting their coaching badges.
