Red Nose Day - Friday 18th March
It was lovely to see children in school wearing red today supporting the Red Nose appeal. We will let you know how much we have raised in next weeks newsletter.
Many thanks to familes who stay in credit with their ParentPay accounts, it is really important that lunches and Earlies/Lates sessions are paid for in advance.
We are approaching our year end and it is really important that there is nothing owing on your accounts.
Many thanks.
Pippin's Birthday Celebrations
We celebrated Pippin’s 3rd birthday in the sunshine on Saturday, there were so many families having fun it was lovely to see. The children (and some adults) fully engaged with Thomas Trilby, our circus entertainer and the ice creams were a big hit too.
Thank you to everyone who came along, we hope to do another family event in the summer term.
Pippin was delighted by the amount of gifts he receievd and absolutey loved the home made cards.
Thank you all so much for your generosity.
There are some great vacancies at Dunalley Primary.
We need a Business and Finance Administrator to work closley with Mrs Byrne in the school office, this role is for 20 hours a week (mostly mornings), term time plus inset days.
For full details please follow the link to our opportunities page.
We would still like to add to our fabuolous team of Play Partners to support meaningful and productive child-initiated play during our lunchtimes, ensuring that our children have the very best lunchtime opportunities possible.
We are also keen to increase our after school club staff. If you are interested in a role with Lates please email [email protected] to express an interest or ask any questions.
This is a perfect time to join our team here at Dunalley, also a fantastic opportunity to get back into the work place if you have taken a break due to family commitments.
We offer excellent training for all of our roles and being in school, even if only for an hour or two a day is very rewarding and an excellent step for a career in education. All of our jobs at school come with excellent work place benefits too.
We are so excited as at school today as we started to lessen our restrictions at lunch times. During assembly this morning Mrs Godfrey and Mrs Byrne presented the new OPAL lunchtime arrangements with the children.
We are now using two larger zones rather than more smaller ones, this enables children to mix a little more with other year groups, we hope that by the summer we can offer children the full OPAL experience and open the grounds to our children to explore freely. It was a shame the sun didn't shine today, but the children enjoyed mixing with children from other year groups nonetheless.
Dontaions
Thank you so much to the families who have donated items for OPAL play so far.
The difference these make to our lunch times is amazing.
Thank you for the donation of some seeds, we would still love to have some bedding plants and sensory herb plants if at all possible. We would also love den making items,
If you are able to donate please drop them into the School Office.
