Nursery and Pre-school have been immersing themselves in stories this week as part of National Storytelling Week. The adults have enjoyed sharing their favourite stories, alongside some lovely craft activities and the children have shared photos of the books they enjoy at home. 

We have been exploring heavier and lighter using the balance scales, using the number numicon to draw numicon monsters, taking turns playing games and helped turn our role play cafe into a shop (with a cafe, of course) which has promoted lots of conversations, sharing and discussions about what food they are going to buy. 

We have welcomed a new member of staff, Emma, who is serving our lunches and ensuring our kitchen room is nice and tidy for our afternoon activities.
