OPAL Play Partner & Medical Assistant - Vacancy

Supporting a Child with medical needs

We are seeking to recruit an additional member to our team of dynamic Play Partners who will support meaningful and productive child-initiated play during our lunch times at Dunalley Primary School whilst being on hand to support a child with specific medical needs for one  hour each day.

This is a fabulous opportunity to join our team here at Dunalley as we continue to embed our whole school play initiative, OPAL.

We welcome applications from candidates who:

  • Are able to meet the health needs of the designated child.
  • Recognise and respond to the designated child’s health related risks during their lunch hour.
  • Maintain relevant health related competencies.
  • Are enthusiastic, positive, well-motivated and passionate about meeting the needs of children
  • Is a versatile and flexible team member who uses their own knowledge and experience to facilitate an enjoyable lunchtime experience for the children
  • Are skilled at developing positive relationships and managing behaviour
  • Keen to learn from others, willing to share good practice and develop their expertise
