Dear parents and carers,
Happy New Year to you all from all of us! We hope that you all had a lovely family time during the holidays.
It was lovely to see so many of you at the recent parent meeting morning. If you were not able to come, please see the PDF of the slides with all the information included.
The maths homework will mostly be linked to what we have been learning during the week. In the next few weeks we will have a Times Tables Rock Stars launch when we get to the unit on times tables. You’ll know when it starts! We will send out passwords again nearer the time.
For spelling homework, we will send home words that we have been learning in school. They will be sent home as a set of cards with a picture to represent the word. There will not be a spelling test on the words. Instead, we will be looking to see the children use them in their writing. If you do have time, it would be very beneficial to practise the words in any way that you like.

We’ve got a very exciting term ahead, hopefully that excitement will leave the classroom and be shared with you at home!
